How do material assemblies work?
A reusable assembly combines quantities per unit, unit costs, and waste allowances to create material items from a measurement. Applying an assembly creates a snapshot; reapply it if the source measurement changes. Once a job moves ahead, job costing provides a separate view of budgeted, committed, and actual costs.
