How to add a company

Create a company record for commercial clients, GCs, or any organization you work with.

If you do commercial work — or just want to group multiple contacts under one business — add the company as its own record.

Open the Companies tab

From the sidebar, click Companies. (If you don't see it, click More at the bottom — it might be tucked in there.)

Click "New Company"

Blue button, top-right.

Fill in the company details

  • Company name (required)
  • Website, phone, address — optional
  • Industry, size — optional, useful for reports later

None of the other fields are required.

Click "Save"

The new company opens with tabs for People (empty for now), Proposals, Projects, and Activity.

Add people to the company

Open the People tab on the company detail page and click Add Person.

You can either pick an existing contact from your CRM and link them, or create a new person right there.

Linking contacts to a company later

You can also go the other way — open a Person record, click the Company field, and pick or create a company from there. Same result.

One person belongs to exactly one company at a time. If a contact moves jobs, just update their company field — Kaliun preserves the full history.
