Quickstart

Get your Kaliun workspace running in under 5 minutes.

This guide walks you through creating your workspace, adding your first contact, and sending your first proposal — everything you need to start running deals through Kaliun.

1. Create your account

Head to kaliun.com and click Start Free Trial. You'll need:

  • A business email address
  • Your company name
  • A password (8+ characters)

Kaliun will automatically create your workspace and drop you on the dashboard.

2. Set up your company profile

Go to Settings → Company Profile and fill in:

  • Company name (shown on proposals and invoices)
  • Business address
  • Logo (recommended: PNG, 400×400px or larger)
  • Default currency and tax rate

These defaults flow through to every document you send.

3. Invite your team

Under Settings → Team Members, click Invite. Each invited user gets a secure signup link by email. Roles control what they can see and edit — start everyone as Member and adjust from there.

4. Add your first contact

From the People tab, click New Person. At minimum, add a name and email. You can always fill in more later.

5. Create your first proposal

Open the contact you just created and click New Proposal. Kaliun will guide you through:

  1. Line items — what you're selling (labor, materials, allowances)
  2. Pricing — your cost, markup, and client price
  3. Terms — payment schedule, signature fields
  4. Review — preview exactly what your client will see

Click Send and Kaliun emails your client a secure portal link they can view, comment on, and e-sign.
