How to take and attach site photos
Capture job site photos from your phone and attach them directly to a project or contact.
Document the job site without leaving the app. Photos are tagged, uploaded, and available on the web instantly.
Open the record
In the Kaliun mobile app, navigate to the project or contact you want to attach photos to.
Tap the camera icon
You'll see it in the top-right corner or on the Files tab. Choose Take Photo to open your camera, or Choose from Library to pick existing photos.
Snap the photo
Take the shot. If needed, tap the markup tool to circle damage, draw arrows, or annotate measurements directly on the image before saving.
Save
Tap Save. The photo uploads to Kaliun's cloud storage in the background. You can keep working while it uploads.
What happens next
- Each photo is automatically tagged with GPS coordinates and a timestamp, so you always know where and when it was taken.
- Photos appear on the record's Files tab in both the mobile app and the web app.
- Your team can view, download, or share any photo from the web dashboard.
- Photos are stored in Kaliun's cloud — they don't count against your phone's storage.
Batch upload: Select 20 or more photos at once and they all upload in the background. If you're on a spotty connection, no worries — photos taken offline upload automatically as soon as connectivity returns.
